Away From Her is a really beautiful, and touching film. I think Alzheimer’s is a really scary topic for a lot people because many of us know someone who is infected with it.
Away From Her really did a wonderful job of telling the story of two lovers and their experience with the disease.
Before I had watched the movie I hadn’t realized how bad Alzheimer’s can get, and what a toll it takes on the family of the victim. Though it was a little slow and long for my taste, I thought it really got the message out there that it wanted to.
I would recommend this movie to anyone interested in having a good cry and a look into the lives of the less fortunate.
