BEAUTIFUL BITCH
Who was in it:
Katharina Derr, Patrick von Blume, Sina Tkotsch

The Basics:
This movie is about a young girl named Bica (Bitch) who lives her life as a pickpocket. After her brother has been taken away by the child service, she leaves to Germany with a group of boys led by a man named Cristu. When Bica steals the wallet of a rich man, his daughter Milka chases after her to retrieve the wallet. After Bica and Milka see each other a few more times, they become friends. Then a few tragic things happen and Bica ends up shooting Cristu. After that, Bica becomes free and goes back to live in Romania where her little brother is.

What's good:
There were some really good parts in this movie. I can’t really think of them because they were only a few minuets long and they didn’t show up very often. I think Katharina Derr (Bica) did a FANTASTIC acting job in this movie. Everyone did good acting actually but Katharina did great.

What's not:
I think I would have liked this movie more if I was older. I’m not really used to seeing movies like this. There was a lot of graphic violence in this movie. This movie was also really sad. I absolutely HATED it when the little 11-year-old boy committed suicide. There were so many sad senses in this movie.

Bottom Line:
I did like the movie, but not as much as I thought I would. I would have to give it a 3-½.
