STRANDED
Who did it:
Writer/Director Gonzalo Arijon plus the 16 survivors of the crash

The Basics:
This movie, or should I say documentary, takes place in the 1970s. It’s about 28 young Uruguayan soccer players who are stranded in the Andes due to a plane crash. This film tells how hard it was for them to survive and all the awful thing they had to experience. Well the 16 people who survived tell what it was like.

What's good:
I don’t think I have ever cried so much in a movie. It was so sad, but that’s what made it good. It was so sad and so depressing but the movie would have been horrible if it wasn’t sad. I really loved it.

What's not:
Some of the stories that they tell were very disturbing. Like how they described that they had to eat the dead people in order to stay alive. That was the only really bad thing, but it was a true fact, so it wouldn’t make sense not to tell it.

Bottom Line:
I loved it! It was so moving. I think it deserves a 5.
