STRANDED
Who did it:
The 16 survivors of the crash, and Writer / Director Gonzalo Arijon

The Basics:
The film stranded is about the infamous 1974 plane crash in the Andes Mountains. It originally started with 45 people on the plane, and ended up with sixteen living. The movie was a combination of commentary of the survivors, and a bit of reenactment. They talked about all the risks, choices, and problems surviving in such harsh climates.

What's good:
A very well done film. It was depressing yet inspiring to hear the story of these 16 survivors. Sure, cannibalism isn't pretty, but it is interesting to hear about surviving out in the cold. I was intrigued about their stories and experiences, it would be a way different movie if the survivors weren't in it.

What's not:
It may be so sad that you need to leave, or stop watching the film. It was so sad, and I didn't know how much more I could take. Another big problem was time. It was too long, two hours. Personally, I don't want to sit through two hours of depressing stories.
