Crude is the story about oil and the impact it has on the world. Almost everything we use from toothpaste to potato chips has some percent of oil in it or related to it.
Crude really shows you how much out society relies on it in our everyday lives, without thinking about the future.
Crude was amazing! I really thought they did a fantastic job on the filming, narrating and getting their point through. They did a lot of research on oils history and I learned a lot about what it really is and how far back it goes. I also hadn’t realized that the number one oil dig in the world was in Saudi Arabia!
In some parts they used animation to depict the ancient times (dinosaurs, etc.). I thought it was a cool idea, but it looked kind of tacky on screen. Other than that I thought the movie was great!
All in all I thought it was a great film. I think all of America should be required to go see it, and see what were doing to our world.
