SUMMERHOOD
Who Directed (and acted in) It:
Jacob Medjuck

The Basics:
Summerhood is the story of summer camp. Sure, with summer camp movies you may think of meatballs. This story is a lot like Meatballs, but with an actual point. It all is based arround a boy named Fetus. Well, it isn't really his name but it is his summer camp nickname because he is the baby in the cabin. One legend in the camp is that nobody has ever made it across the bridge from the kids' to the seniors' side, and Fetus's friend Reckless hopes to succeed this year. The only problem is Fetus's crush Sundae comes to camp, and Fetus isn't helping, because all he really wants is to kiss Sundae. In the end Fetus gets his kiss, and Reckless makes it across the bridge. There are so many great lines, and tons of detail, so you just may have to see it!

Good News:
A great film, great acting, and a whole lot of laughs. If you are into comedy this is for you! It was great capturing what kids are like. If you haven't gone to camp you would want to.

Bad News:
If this movie is made for kids, then this is bad, due to content and cursing. But if this was made for teenagers/adults, what a PERFECT Film. Really there isn't anything else, a great plot of pursuing your dreams, and a great job covering summer camp.

The Verdict:
Trust me, this isn't another lame summer camp movie, it's more.
