Light Blue Line Meeting
Eve and Maika

Everyone gave a report of what they were doing in the Light Blue Line project. Bruce (the head of the Light Blue Line project) was interviewed by the N.A.S.A Goddard science institution on NBC news. They showed paintings by local artists of how the world could look like in the future.  They told us what we could do as a community to help reduce global warming like:

  1. change light bulbs to energy efficient ones,
  2. unplug and turn off all electronics and
  3. reduce the amount of CO2 emissions that are let into the atmosphere.

They spoke about their emotions on how they felt about global warming and what they want to do to help. They talked about Earth Day and some ideas of what they could do to advertise the Light Blue Line project.  They also showed us the circular medallions they designed (to be put on the streets) for waste escaping into the local oceans of Santa Barbara.

They really inspired us to help out on Earth Day and to help out our community to make it a comfortable place to live in.
