THE BODY

...is a Spanish film about a man that lost his wife, and she was put in the morgue. Her body went missing from the morgue, and the man keeps having visions of being with her. This movie was hard to follow, but it had potential. Basically, the whole movie is a big, complicated situation, and all you know is coming, is a big, complicated twist. Besides for the twist, the whole movie was very predictable as well.

The whole film was in good HD, and good sound. I thought that was one of the only highlights of the film. The music was just classic horror music that you would find on “Garage Band.” Overall, the angles were pretty good, and the HD/sound was very good. The only thing in the technical department for this film that was bad was the music.

The acting was very “cheesy.” It was almost hard to watch at some points. A standout scene for me was probably when the main character needs to flush a confidential piece of paper down the toilet, and the toilet wont flush, so he swallows the piece of paper, after it has been in the dirty toilet water. If you looked at the people’s faces in the theater, it was hilarious!

I would rate this film 3/5, maybe 2.5/5. It didn’t meet my expectations because it had way more potential. This film had poor acting and it was predictable. It wouldn’t recommend it because I didn’t enjoy it, and I don’t think you will either…
