FAMILY MEALS

...I was thinking after I saw the film “Family Meals”… It was probably the worst film that I have ever had to sit through. It was so terrible! Honestly, I don’t think I should put in my time writing a review for it! But I will anyway… It was about a women who has a dysfunctional family and she tries to sit down with every member of her family (at different times) and have a meal. While they are eating she wants to talk about if they are excepting of her being a lesbian. There are several different meals, with the same answers, and the same conversation.

The second that I started watching the movie, I knew that it was going to be bad just because of the video production. It was plain out awful! They must have used little digital cameras to film this movie… Everything else wasn’t terrible, the subtitles were clear and easy to read, and the audio was OK.

There were zero standout scenes… I felt like the whole movie was the same boring scene, but with different people… There was a message in it all, but it wasn’t portrayed in the best way possible. It wasn’t worthy for an entire film.

The longest 50 minutes of my life… I would give this film easily a 1/5… I think I have said enough about why I think so. In my opinion, this movie shouldn’t have been made in the first place. Wouldn’t recommend…
