THE INVISIBLE STING

...is a documentary about the community that frisbee makes and everything you would ever want to know about frisbee and more! It talks about the history of frisbee, how it started, who started it etc... The film shows all of different kinds of frisbee games, then it also shows how frisbee developed and became a big world wide sports and art.

In this documentary there were lots of clips of old footage of people playing frisbee and old frisbee tournaments. The film of all of the tricks was really cool for example someone would be on the beach in front of a beautiful sunset and doing these crazy tricks. The colors in the film went really well with what was happening and that is the same with the music if it is a happy scene where people just won a tournament the music would get light and happy, when they were showing a clip from the 80’s the footage looked old and faded and the colors would be faded tie dye.

A scene that stand out to me the most is the scene where it focuses on the freestyle acrobatic types of frisbee and it shows people doing these tricks with a frisbee that I thought were humanly impossible not to mention to do it with a frisbee spinning. For example there was this scene when this guy was on the beach and he threw his frisbee up in the air, then the guy did a front flip, caught the frisbee on the tip of his finger, threw it back up, did a body roll with it and then some other stuff it was amazing!

I recommend this film to anyone who is remotely interested in frisbee and wants to learn more about it, because to me, and I am not into frisbee particularly it was pretty good and interesting. I rate this film 3 out of 5.
