JERRY & MAGGIE--This is Not Photography

...is about a couple who do photography, or something like photography. The Jerry does layers of photographs together. He kind of created Photoshop before Photoshop was invented! He does all of his work in a darkroom. His wife, Maggie, also does photography related stuff, but she really does use Photoshop! Her photos are more colorful and otherworldly than his. He mostly does his photos in black and white.

The color of the film was very good. It was especially cool when it showed Maggie’s photography because hers was so colorful and bright! The sound was also good. I liked the difference and contrast of Maggie’s colorful photos, with Jerry’s black and white photos.

A part in the film that stood out for me was when the couple took a break from their photos to go to the forest and rent canoes and go up the river. It was like a special time for them and it was nice that they could take a break from their work and relax.

The film was good. I liked how it was about art and creativeness and stuff like that. It was a little long though. Near the end I got bored. So based on that I would give it a three out of five (3/5).
