THE SAPPHIRES

...A film that sparkles, inspires, and makes you realize the importance of family and love. About a singing group of sisters who sets off to sing in vietnam to different soldier camps during the war in hope of finding fame and fortune. During their journey they all encounter loss, love, and pain but in the end through all the sorrow it brings them closer together.

Throughout the film the lighting and cinematography was very clear and clean cut. The colors fit very well to their time period in 1968 as well as their backdrops and props. The acting was very well presented and the actors did a great job portraying emotions. They made me feel like they were actually crying. It made the movie all that more real and believable!

When I watched this movie I was completely blown away by the singing and dancing performances. The way they put together all the songs and dances, it made it become a must see movie for me.

I would recommend this movie to all ages who enjoy music and great acting. I promise you that this will be a movie you won't forget full of tears and twinkle.
