SPINNING PLATES

...is about 3 restaurants. They are all very different, one is a super fancy high end modern artsy restaurant, another is a mexican, family owned restaurant that does not have an easy time staying open, and a community restaurant that is run by a small community during breakfast even though there still is a chef, many people have the key to the restaurant.

It shows all the difficulties in owning a restaurant and all its joys. There are a few tragedies that happen over the course of the film and it does a very good job of showing what has happened without using words and then showing the person talking about it after the fact. it also shows some of the fancy meals and how they come up with them very well, but the crazy things they do don’t get easier to understand.

SPOILER ALERT
In one of the scenes they don’t say anything but they just show one of the restaurants that was not doing well is completely empty and there are packed boxes on the floor. The audience all gasped at the same time, it looked so lonely and deserted some people started crying.

This was an intriguing and lovely film. It was interesting to watch and very sad when it was over, only 2 of the 3 restaurants survive through the movie. I give it a 5 out of 5.
