Salon on ACCESS AND MEDIA: EJ Scott & Ryan Suffern of "Running Blind"

The MY HERO PROJECT works to make the world a better place by promoting the use of media and technology to improve people's lives. The October "Salon" featured filmmakers who use media to help improve the lives of people with access/functional needs.

The documentary RUNNING BLIND is about a marathon runner (EJ Scott) who runs 12 marathons blindfolded "to raise money for research on Choroideremia, a genetic disease that is threatening his eyesight."

The Teen Press girls--Addie, Amanda, Coco and Deryn--visit with EJ and director Ryan Suffern about their inspirations, their fears, their struggles, and their helpers.
