Hi, I’m Harrison, and I’m a seventh grader at the Santa Barbara Middle School.

My interest in journalism started at Montecito Union School with the MUS News crew. When I came to Santa Barbara Middle School in 6th grade, I applied for the SBMS Teen Press. Since then, I have covered Interbike (where I had the opportunity to interview Tom Ritchey and Gary Fisher), interviewed presidential candidates, covered MacWorld Expo and, also, covered the 23rd Santa Barbara International Film Festival (where I got to interview Jason Reitman, Javier Bardem, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt).

I’m really excited for the Teen Press this year so I will be hopefully be able to cover the presidential election, Interbike (again), and many other events that I hope to come my way!
