The Basics:
Havana Surf is about seven friends who all have a passion for surfing. They all live in Cuba, a country that has been through hard times and is still looked at as a terrible place. They all go on a surf trip with the help of Australian surfer Bob Samin. He makes a website and tries to spread the love of surfing throughout Cuba.

The Good:
Havana Surf was a wonderful movie of friendship and fun. The director did a great job in depicting Cuba as a country full of interesting people and culture.

The Bad:
I think they could have showed more surfing. It tended to document only the traveling and it got boring.

The Verdict:
If you want a new view of Cuba and you like to surf, this is the right film for you.

Rating:
This movie deserves 4 out of 5.
