THEY KILLED SISTER DOROTHY
The Basics:
An American nun was murdered in Brazil while trying to enforce the PDS, or Sustainable Development project. This organization is trying to protect the rainforest and help families by strategically mapping the land so that no one person can use it all or destroy it for logging or farming. This documentary showed the entire process of her trial and her work in the rainforest.

The Good News:
They Killed Sister Dorothy was definitely an eye-opener about the problems we face in the rainforest. It is very important that her story got publicized and I believe it was a call to action for people who want to make a difference.

The Bad News:
The plot was very slow and I believe that movie could have been half as long and twice as good.

The Verdict:
They Killed Sister Dorothy is an incredible movie that anyone who cares about the environment should see. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.
