The Basics:
Sunshine takes place in the future. The Sun is dying and the Earth is freezing drastically. We’ve sent out a spaceship, the Icarus 2, to reignite the sun and save humanity. The eight members of the crew have to survive in space, and who’s their worst enemy? Themselves.
The Good:
Sunshine kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. It was full of suspense. It had breathtaking special effects.
The Bad:
The movie could have stayed off the classic survival film path. Right from the beginning you could tell who was going to die and in what order.
The Verdict:
If you want a close-your-eyes-and-plug-your-ears-but-you-still-want-to-look kind of movie, this will be right for you.
