The Basics:
An international team of climbers with different religious beliefs join together to complete a near impossible task: climb Mount Everest. The reason they are all joined together is to bring about something even more difficult to achieve: peace. Throughout many challenges including frostbite, altitude sickness, and near death, all but two make it to the top. But, even more importantly, they show that people from all over the world can unite.
The Good News:
Everest’s cinematography was incredible: every shot was stunning! It was the perfect length, and the plot did not develop too slowly or too quickly. Moreover, it was incredible to see what it is really like to climb the tallest mountain in the world.
The Bad News:
The editing was a little bit too abrupt and choppy, which sometimes took away from the content.
The Verdict:
I would give Everest: A Climb for Peace 4 out of 5 stars and would definitely recommend it.
