The basics:
Pascal is a coffee farmer in Rwanda who lives a tedious live. Every day he and his family harvest coffee beans from their coffee trees, then take them to a washing station to have them cleaned. Harvesting is easy, it’s the trip to the washing station that is dangerous. To get there, Pascal has to ride seven miles on a bike with broken brakes, with at least 1 ton of coffee beans hitched on the back of it. An organization called
Project Rwanda finds Pascal and gives him a special bike made specifically for transporting large loads.
This short film is a story about how a simple coffee bike meant to help one man, can really help bring change to a whole village.
The good news:
Pascal’s Bike was organized perfectly, the music went, the footage was great, and it kept me entertained.
The bad news:
I don’t think there are any!
