SKIN
The Basics:
Living in South Africa as a black man or woman was a very hard life. Skin was based on a true story about two white parents who had a black daughter who hated her life because she knew she was different. Her parents tried to keep her away from black people as much as possible but they did not succeed. Sandra then moved away and married a black man and had two children. After not seeing her parent for twenty years, she goes looking for them, but only finds her mother because her father has died of cancer.

The Good News:
The movie was phenomenal. I liked how the movie showed how it really was being a black African in South Africa.

The Bad News:
They should have edited out some of the beginning because it started off very slowly.

Bottom line:
It was a great film. I rated it a 5 out of 5, the best film I have seen in the festival.
