Bran Nue Dae was a film about an Aborigine boy who was sent to a boarding school to learn how to be a priest. The priest who runs the school was very mean and so the main character, Willi, ran away. On his journey home, he meets his uncle, Tadpole, and two hippies, one of which is the son of the priest Willi is running away from. He joins them on their journey to Broome, the town where he lives. A lot of things happen to them along the way, like being arrested and fixing the van's fan belt with a snake skin. There is so much laughter in this hilarious musical that will keep you smiling through the whole movie.

This is a brilliant film. It has character and hilarity that are hard to get these days. It is also quite interesting and has a lot of twists and turns that you could never never see coming.

5/5
