Heyo! I'm Emily, and I am a returning eighth grader at Santa Barbara Middle School.

It is my third quarter in the Teen Press, and I came back to be a mentor as well as a reporter. I am looking forward to getting to know not only the interviewees but the new interviewers, and sharing ideas, strategies, and interests through our time in Teen Press.

When I first started last year in the class, I had no intention of being a reporter or journalist when I got older. Now, after having such amazing experiences, I have highly considered the position. Another thing I take interest in is photography, a hobby I have had for years. I have always taken pictures of everything, but it was at Middle School when I started taking it much more seriously. Hopefully I can pursue something like journalism or photography in the future!

I just have to put this out there: I love to frolic. I love dancing around in fields of green grass with butterflies and lady bugs. I love to sing at the top of my lungs. I love to live my life with as much happiness as there ever was in the world. :)

I have a lot of pets around the house. I have a delirious guinea pig, a lovable cat, about 20 fish, and a ridiculously cute basset hound puppy. I have two sisters, but one of them is a senior in college. The other lives at home with my two parents and me. I have a CRAZY COOL family!!!
