The Children Uniting Nations’ CHILDREN'S DREAM AWARDS

It was time for the Teen Press to hit the big city. What better event than one produced by kids for kids. The kids wrote the query, made the follow-up call, and Zoe, Ruby, Lili, and mentor Sophie soon found themselves on the red carpet at the Club Nokia, Los Angeles. They even befriended Security and were escorted to seats in the balcony to actually view (and sneak some footage of) the event.

Children Uniting Nations is an organization whose mission is to create loving, tolerant, and capable world citizens and is dedicated to help children find their way to fulfill their dreams. Since children are the main victims of adult difficulties-whether it's financial or political problems, war, lack of education, malnutrition, or carelessness. Children Uniting Nations is attempting to break that cycle and help EVERY child find a way out of cruelty, neglect and anger and strengthen our leaders of the next generations.  Chilldren Uniting Nations believes strongly in the ability to make the change now and create compassionate and loving children for the future.

The Children’s Dream Awards featured presentations of awards to young people from around the world who serve as role models and exemplify the spirit of giving to communities worldwide. Six young people who have taken the initiative in their young lives to make a difference in the world received Dream Angel Awards. The program also featured a show featuring performers and entertainment by some of Hollywood’s youngest stars. The Teen Press had the privilege and honor to visit with many of the Dream Angel Award recipients and some of the stars presenting and performing.
