SBici & SB Bike Coalition TRAILER DEDICATION & MOBILE BIKE FLEET LAUNCH:

As as special delegation of the Teen Press prepares to head to New York to attend the Youth Bike Summit, two members headed down to Bici Centro/SB Bike Coalition HQ for a special event. Nicole and Jordan visited with others of the biking community to celebrate the launch of a new educational tool--an educational bike fleet and the trailer needed to move them. On hand were some of the primary movers of the project--Sergio and Dylan--members of the SB High School bike club SBici, as well as their partners at SB Bike Coalition and supporters. A very special "fireside" visit

ISHMAEL BEAH

Former child soldier and current author ISHMAEL BEAH visited Santa Barbara Middle School before his appearance at UCSB's Arts & Lectures series. He met with the Teen Press and members of the SBMS community in the Lotus Theater, sharing stories in a traditional forum--"around the fire."
