Bill Condon
Now on to Bill Condon! When I first heard I was going to see Bill Condon, I was like, “Who on earth is that?” But after seeing Dreamgirls, I thought it would be really cool to meet him and ask him some questions. First we asked him if he would sing with us, but he said no! Just kidding!! Bill loves all kinds of music, but he especially likes R&B like in the movie. He really thinks that a lot of great musicians are budding and he wants to bring back the musical trend. He has directed and written many movies and in the future he would love to do more musicals. For now however, he wants to just make normal movies. He seemed really sweet and interesting. It was interesting because he has also made a lot of dramas and horror movies! Kind of the opposite of Dreamgirls!
We also talked to Jennifer Hudson which was really neat. In the few moments we talked to her, her face shined with happiness and beauty that just made you want to smile. She is gonna be producing a CD in July with a style of music that she hopes will appeal to young generations but will also be enjoyed by everybody. Jennifer also wants to pursue a career in acting, with maybe some musicals. We also met Anika Noni Rose and a man who will be opening a film festival in North Carolina. Everybody was really nice and interesting.
