Planet Earth

Hey!!!
Here’s what’s happening here: right now I’m sitting inside of the trailer typing away with my fingers tapping in the rhythm of the rain above my head. It’s about 4:30 and Alissa is watching another movie on her computer across from me, David is doing some technical stuff, and I’m just, well, typing. So let me describe the day so far. Woke up and worked on homework again, and then I went and watched Planet Earth: Pole to Pole with Alissa, Anna, Derek, and David.
It was really good, but seriously, I wouldn’t recommend this movie to someone who wanted an action packed movie or a drama or something. I mean, it was a drama — sort of — but there were no actors. The only actors were real animals and nature itself. They showed such amazing clips, such amazing feats pulled by normal animals. They showed the everyday, every year life of these animals from astonishing views.
As I was watching it, I kept on waiting for the big bad wolf. But when the big bad wolf came, she wasn’t bad anymore. And I realized that she was just trying to survive. And I realized sort of the big picture. And I wondered why those animals even live. Cuz they are in danger of being killed everyday. I know what the point of life for me is: I love to live because of all the fun things I get to do or all the fun things I get to laugh about it. But the animals don’t have that stuff, do they? So then I was wondering if they do. I swear, this movie will get you thinking. They show amazing footage, fantastic time-lapse photography, and crystal clear scenes. The awesome vastness of the landscapes just caught me up in it all. So I’d give it a 4 ½ out of 5. Next we are gonna watch Can Mr. Smith Still Get to Washington Anymore? (long title, huh?) Tell ya about it all later!
        Hasta la Pasta!
