Hi my name is Alex. I am a seventh grader at Santa Barbara Middle School. I am a Reporter for the team.

I love to play soccer, the guitar and piano, and to ballroom dance. I play on Santa Barbara Soccer Club for the BU13 White Team in the premier division of the Coast Soccer League. I have been playing the acoustic guitar for about a year, and recently started piano and dancing. A fact about me is that I am extremely competitive, even when it is totally unnecessary. I love my weiner dog, Strider, who is two years old.

One of my dreams is to someday meet and interview Hope Solo. She inspires me because of her determination and how she was so resilient in soccer and in the TV show, Dancing With The Stars. I started dancing when she was on the show. I dream that the Teen Press will go to cover the Women’s Summer Olympics next year to see the USWNT.

Some examples of creativity that I have are Steve Jobs, pencils, and any author. Some of my favorite films are Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory, The Muppets, and Inception. I loved the first two movies because of how funny they were, The Muppets because of the music, and Inception because of how mind-boggling it was. One film that I am looking forward to seeing is Bridesmaids.
