Hi, my name is Matt and I’m part of Santa Barbara Middle School Teen Press Version 19.

If I were to have a dream potato it would be a sweet potato with butter. I think that I would have to say that my favorite movies are “The Shawshank Redemption” and “The Dark Knight Rises.”

If I would to interview anybody in the world, it would be Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers because Flea has inspired me in my bass playing so much! I want to be in Teen Press because I am really interested in journalism, and I think that it would help my journalism skills.

I have a bunch of hobbies but my main hobby would be to play bass, so when I grow up, I would like to be a professional bassist. My favorite movie quote is from “The Dark Knight Rises” when Bane says “Your punishment must be more severe” because when Tom Hardy says that quote, it left me feeling scared in the theater. My favorite movie treats are popcorn, and icees. My favorite bands are The Red Hot Chili Peppers because of Flea’s crazy bass lines, Foo Fighters because of the awesome guitar licks from Patrick Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Dave Grohl, and Green Day because of the amazing vocals from Billie Joe Armstrong.
