6 Hours, 1 Van, and a lot of people.

We left at lunch on an adventure we had been dreaming of--Macworld. The name just sent chills down your back. We knew it would be a long drive, and we were right. The gruesome drive was not fun at all. But when we finally got to the hotel we began to prepare for the days ahead. With a bad night's sleep we started the day. Sadly we did not make the Keynote presentation but we still were very excited. We started reporting right away, but found Macworld to be bigger than we expected. Everything was so overwhelming and there was so much to do. Every big brand that had something to do with commuters was there; even Microsoft.

There are two halls in Macworld; the north hall and the south hall. Both were filled with booths and people trying to sell you stuff. Being a PC person I was a little out of my element, but I was interested to see what the true potential of a Mac was. We explored all around the convention. Finding small companies, big companies, and a lot of new companies trying to find a name for themselves in the world of computers. Of course the Apple booth was the biggest and center booth. People crowded the iPods and iPhones learning new and profound things about their favorite products. We ended the day with some blogging and homework and went to sleep. Day one at Macworld was a very successful day for the SBMS Teen Press.
