Hey! I'm Joakim, and I am a seventh grader at Santa Barbara Middle School.

I used to go to Montecito Union School, which I went to for 1 year, from sixth grade to here at SBMS. I played Volleyball for three years, and recently I have been into more action sports, like skateboarding, and surfing.

I also love to travel, especially to places where it snows. My favorite place that I have ever been is probably Kenya. I also love to be with my friends, play volleyball and listen to music. I am very exited to be on Teen Press, and I can’t wait to start interviewing and writing about the awesome and great people that we get to meet.
