Hi My name is Sarina, and I’m an ninth grader at Santa Barbara Middle School. I'm a Mentor.

I’m also a dreamer, always have been and always will be. My dream for the future is to travel the world, share my music, and meet new people along the way. SBMS Teen Press has helped pave the path for my future by teaching me important social/speaking skills and by giving me more confidence.

Last year I traveled to Colorado for the Telluride Mountain Film Festival. I had had some experience reporting at the Santa Barbara Film Festival but, Telluride was a whole new ball game. We got to meet amazing directors and subjects of films (they're all documentaries), and see films that I would never get the chance to see otherwise. I would like to thank John and David for helping me achieve my dream.
