Hi, my name is Nicole, and I'm an eighth grade Reporter for the Teen Press.

Three things you must know about me are that I love the ocean, my favorite color is pink, and I have an obsession of chocolate. Some of my favorite hobbies include dancing, hanging out with friends, collaging, skiing, traveling, and meeting new people. I also really love music. My favorite music artists are the xx, the Paper Kites, John Legend, and Lana Del Rey. My favorite movies are Mean Girls, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Soul Surfer, The Breakfest Club and Pitch Perfect. One of my favorite quotes is “You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, and live like it’s heaven on earth.”

I decided to be in SBMS Teen Press so I could learn new things from other people. I had heard it was really cool, and ever since I heard about Santa Barbara Middle School’s Teen Press I have wanted to be a part of it. I am really excited to stretch my comfort zone while interviewing people across California! My dream interviews would have to be Lucy Hale, Rebel Wilson, Marilyn Monroe and John Green. They are some of my biggest role-models and I love watching shows and movies with them! I would interview John Green because he is my favorite writer and his books make me laugh, smile, and cry.

My overall goal in life is to make people smile, even when I am not.
